One of the greatest parts about Montessori are the educators. I am eternally grateful for the way my teachers pushed me to grow and learn.
I had teachers that had opposite personalities: one was kind and fun but surprisingly tough, never tolerating any kind of disrespect, but understanding the person behind the remarks.
The other was intelligent and experienced, with a certain wisdom about the world that made them unbeatable at chess and able to help me work through the ups and downs of becoming a teenager.
I believe a Montessori educator is the epitome of a great teacher, understanding both the intelligence and the emotions of a student.– Lily Carnahan, Age 15, High School Freshman
